Why not use adhesive/iron on/sew on labels or permanent markers instead of Taggles?

Those methods are a great way to label clothing, but they are usually permanent, messy and time consuming.  Growing up as a younger sister, I hated wearing jackets that had my older sister’s name on them, or ugly black cross-outs.  And who has time to sew or iron labels on clothing your child will outgrow within the year?  Taggles are removable so they stay with the child, not the clothing.  And they are cute and unique so any child will be proud to display their Taggle.  A Taggle is a beautiful way to accessorize and label any item.

Do Taggles come in other colors/styles?

I am often asked this question.  You can see all the available colors and styles in the Taggle Store.  I would love to have more variety, so each production run I try to add a few more.  After selecting and testing new colors and characters, the production runs take me about two months from start to finish, and as a busy work at home mom, sometimes a bit longer.  Remember, these are handmade and each one is unique and special for your child.  Please check in every once in a while, or email me to see what new styles I’ve got cooking and to preorder.  I’m always open to suggestions so let me know what colors and characters you would like to see next.

Are Taggles comfortable?

Taggles are made from ultra-soft microfibre and georgettes that are prewashed.  They are extremely comfortable even when fastened to an inner label on clothing.  And they get even softer the more you wash them.

What are Taggles made of?

Taggles are made from high quality microfiber fabrics that will not shrink, fade, stretch or lose their shape.

How do I wash my Taggles?

Taggles are safe to use in a machine washer and dryer.  Avoid vigorous scrubbing as this may result in fading the label area.

Can I write on my Taggle with anything?

For best results we recommend permanent pens and markers only in the white label area.  Other inks may fade with washing.

How long do Taggles last?

Taggles are very durable.  They are intended to last as long as the clothing you are labeling.  However, as with any printed fabric, rough use and repeated washings may fade the print over time.

Are Taggles safe to use with my baby or small child?

Taggles are made from non-toxic materials and when securely fastened are very safe.  However, Taggles are garment accessories not intended for use as toys for children under 6.  You should not leave children under 3 unsupervised with any small objects.  Always make sure Taggles are securely fastened to a larger object.

How can I give Taggles as a gift?

Your Taggles will arrive beribboned in a lovely tulle pouch, already ready to gift to someone special.  We do not currently offer additional giftwrapping, but if you leave a message in the special instructions on your purchase through Paypal, we will include it in the delivery.

Can I return or exchange my Taggles?

An item may be returned for a refund/exchange within 15 days of purchase, if it is in its original packaging and in good resellable condition.   You can find more information about returns and exchanges in our store policies.  Please email me prior to sending any item for return/exchange/refund.

How long will it take to receive my Taggles?

I normally ship orders within 2-3 days of receiving them.  Orders are shipped by priority mail or first class mail so you should receive them 2-5 days after shipping.  You can find more information about shipping in our store policies.
